What is Property Insurance?
Property insurance is a type of insurance that covers risks and threats to properties, such as but not limited to houses, buildings, furniture, jewelry, and pieces of art. There two main ways of insuring property. One is open peril where the insurance policy covers all causes of loss or damage except those stated specifically in the policy as being excluded. On the other hand, named peril lists the specific causes that are covered by the policy.
